Polar Bear PlungeJHS Student Council originally set a goal to raise $1,500 for Missouri Special Olympics and to have 10 people participate in the Polar Bear Plunge on Saturday, February 7th at Lake St. Louis. The kids worked toward this goal by sponsoring Courtwarming, participating in Freezin for a Reason, selling cotton candy at basketball games and seeking individual donations. I am excited to say that they passed their goal of $1,500 by raising a total of $1,735 and had a total of 13 plungers.
