CIVICS, GOVERNMENT, AND ECONOMICS:
This course will include the study of federal, state, and local governments.  Constitutional rights, political institutions, citizen involvement, voter participation, and elements of democracy will be stressed.  Students will be encouraged to identify, analyze, and form opinions on current political issues.  The course also implements study of the American economic system.  Tests on the United States Constitution and the Missouri Constitution will be given in this course.  To be eligible for graduation, a student must pass tests on both the United States and Missouri Constitutions.
